"God's Presence for Real Life!" If there is just one phrase to communicate who we are as believers and what we do as disciples, it's this phrase. We're hoping God will reach our world. God's hoping we will reach our world. God is raising up a participating army that refuses to just be a spectating audience! To go from audience to army we must carry God's presence as the church to our community and to our world. You can't go to church because you are the church. The Friendly Nature of Destiny
When you make the turn into Destiny’s parking lot, there are people standing at the parking lot’s edge, and they are there for you. As you walk the distance from your car to the doors of Destiny, they are there to make sure you are dry during Oklahoma’s rainy season and your steps are firm during its unpredictable winters.
At Destiny’s front doors, there are more people - real people - waiting for you with outstretched hands and real smiles. If you have questions, feel free to ask, because this is a safe place for questions.
The Children of Destiny
As you near the Destiny Kids area, you may be wondering how you can entrust your child to someone you’ve never met. A smiling volunteer in a red Destiny Kids Crew shirt at the check-in station will provide an identification sticker bearing a code unique to your child. You will be given a form bearing the same code which must be produced before your child will be released from Destiny’s care.
At the door to your child’s classroom, you may find comfort in knowing you are handing your child over to someone who has passed a comprehensive background check and will provide a fun and safe atmosphere for your young person.
The Destiny Community
There is a place for you at Destiny. You will discover there are many opportunities throughout the week to gather with other people who share your interests at various locations around the metro. Among the many names and faces, you will find a Life Group or several Life Groups that fit you and your needs perfectly, whether you need an outlet for your hobbies, a one-on-one conversation with someone who cares, or just hang-out time over a hot cup of coffee. Relationships are vital to a strong, growing community and this is the perfect place to culture life-long, meaningful friendships.
The Rich Atmosphere & Help of Destiny
You are not alone in this life! But, sometimes, it can feel that way. An increase in technology and a decrease in human contact make it easy for people to lead solitary lifestyles. A solitary existence offers no warmth when Life shows up with its little bumps. So, where can you go when you need to feel like someone else cares? Where can you go when you can’t find an answer to some of your biggest questions? While it may be hard to believe, there are people who care and are willing to help. There is real hope and real help to be found at Destiny.
Youth & Student Ministries / Wednesday Nights
There are so many things grasping for the attention of our nation’s youth. Everyone wants something from them - their money, their free time, their loyalty… Advertisers scramble and beg for it. You will find a break from all that on Wednesday nights at Destiny’s Revolution Youth Ministries. There are no demands on your teen’s money, it doesn’t consume a vast amount of time and no one has to be a loyal customer.
